Ensio Miettinen founded a company manufacturing electrical accessories in Porvoo, Finland in 1958. Miettinen had an endless thirst for knowledge and the need to do things better and faster than others. At the turn of the century, the family business was transformed to Ensto company which designs and provides smart electrical solutions to improve the safety, functionality, reliability and efficiency of smart grids, buildings and transportation.

In 2019, Ensto generated turnover of 260 million euros with believe in a better life with electricity and a more sustainable tomorrow.

Ensto Smart Buildings

Ensto offers smart, human-centric and flexible electrification, lighting and EV charging solutions for designers, contractors, construction companies, building owners and facility management. These solutions increase efficiency and functionality in buildings and help them to respond to user's needs.

Ensto Utility Networks

Ensto offers advanced solutions for network automation, power quality and network monitoring. We design and develop also the overhead line and underground cable solutions which are the basis for the high quality and reliable grid.
